Michael Morris, M.D.

Dr. Morris received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. He began his professional career working for a large investment bank in New York City. After leaving the financial world, he completed a post-baccalaureate program in Health Professions at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical doctorate, with honors, from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed orthopaedic residency training at Duke University where he received the John M. Harrelson Chief Resident Teaching award.

Dr. Morris subsequently completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction of the hip and knee with Drs. Lombardi and Berend at Joint Implant Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the International Congress of Joint Replacement. He is a member of the Piedmont Orthopedic Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Morris is a volunteer surgeon for Operation Walk, a charitable organization that provides medical education and free surgical care in developing countries.

Dr. Morris lives in central Ohio with his wife and three children. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and traveling.
